The Greenhouse is a fabulous environment for hosting workshops, film screenings and community events. Please be in touch if you’d like to consider booking the space for your event. Priority is given to events that align with our goals of promoting sustainability, particularly if they discuss socioeconomic, political and environmental issues relating to food, energy, and water.
The Nitty Gritty:
A standard booking fee and hourly rate applies to all greenhouse space bookings:
Booking Fees:
Internal (Concordia University) booking fee: $15
External (Outside the University) booking fee: $25
Hourly Rate:
Internal rate: sliding scale $10-20/hr
External rate: $30 / hr
What you need to know:
The Atrium space cannot be booked for private use during opening hours, since it is a public space. (See our opening hours on the home page)
- There are many different greenhouse projects taking place in the greenhouse; we cannot guarantee that activities related to these projects (e.g., watering plants) won’t be taking place outside of greenhouse open hours.
- You are welcome to have group meetings during our opening hours, but please let us know.
