The mandate of the tea atrium is to be a public space for you to use, whether you use it for study, plant appreciation, drinking some of our home-grown herbal teas, gardening or attending some of our great events that range from artist talks to film screenings. We want to welcome everyone and anyone to enjoy this unique space.
To help grow it into the thriving green social space it was destined to be, there are two ways to get involved:
1. If you want to help out with events, join the atrium events team, focused this semester on events around spring wild edibles. Please contact Stefanie Dimitrovas at concordiagreenhouseatrium@gmail.com for more information, or sign up to the newsletter to stay up-to-date with meeting times and ways to help out.
2. If the tea atrium’s garden intrigues you come help out any Friday of the semester (except holidays) from 1-4, where you might find yourself learning how to water, plant and transplant, deal with insects organically, harvest or prune.
Don’t forget that the atrium is also a great place to host groups and events at an affordable price. Check out the “Booking space” tab for more info on event proposals.
